The Bently Nevada 330101-00-08-10-02-00 functions as a high-performance non-contact displacement sensor within the 3300 XL 8mm Proximity Transducer System. This probe manages the critical task of measuring static (position) and dynamic (vibration) distances between the probe tip and a rotating shaft. By utilizing eddy current technology, the system monitors radial vibration, axial thrust position, and speed in critical machinery such as turbines, compressors, and large motors.
By providing a linear output voltage proportional to the gap distance, this probe enables the 3500 Monitoring System to detect minute shaft movements with exceptional accuracy.
