The Yokogawa EC401-50 functions as a high-speed communication bridge within the CENTUM VP Distributed Control System (DCS). This ESB Bus Coupler Module installs directly into a Field Control Unit (FCU) to facilitate the transmission of I/O signals between the master control unit and distributed Node Units.
